WHY CHOOSE THE BOARD OF ACcreditation (IAFCB)?

IAFCB (International Accreditation for Certify Body) is the international organization for accreditation of:

Laboratories and sampling organizations

Certification bodies

Inspection bodies

EU ETS verifiers

Environmental verifiers (EMAS)

Accreditation is a means to establish confidence in the quality of products and services worldwide, through mutual acceptance of results of services provided in compliance with relevant standards and multilateral agreements (MLA) of accreditation.

IAFCB is the Norwegian signature to the EA multilateral agreements on accreditation (MLA). Through this MLA we are also signature to the ILAC and IAF multilateral agreements.

IAFCB is also the international monitoring body for Good Laboratory Practice (GLP) inspections, according to OECD’s GLP principles.

Its objective is to accredit Conformity Assessment Bodies, which are testing laboratories, calibration laboratories, clinical laboratories, inspection units, certification bodies, Proficiency Testing Providers, and Greenhouse Gas Emission Verification/Validation Bodies (GHGVs), Reference Material Producers, and the OECD’s Good Laboratory Practices authorization.

IAFCB proudly holds the highest international recognitions.

This confirms that our entity works in compliance with national and international standards.
